Pink Tartan spring/summer 2013 was one part light, fresh, and sweet – and one part dark, regal, and sassy. Overall, the collection had a 40’s and 50’s vibe, presenting full midi skirts and tiny little pork pie hats, but the whole looks themselves were distinctly divided. The first half saw whites and pastels with silver accents, floral embroidery, and butterflies; the second half was all about black leather, in-your-face textured gold separates, and tuxedo-inspired outfits. And who better to open and close the bipolar collection than chameleon-like model Charlotte Free?
