TORONTO FASHION WEEK: LUCIAN MATIS S/S 2013

Lucian Matis's spring/summer 2013 collection was heavily grounded using visual - and sometimes actual - textures found in his head-to-toe printed ensembles. Whether it showcased a mosaic, stained glass, crocodile skin, kaleidoscope, graphic baroque, or any combination of the five main patterns, each and every look had (or was in its entirely) a wow factor. Paired with orange lips, massive earrings, and black patent pumps, the extremely feminine garments formed looks that caught everybody’s eye. - writing by Bianca Venerayan
