Arthur Mendonca’s spring/summer 2013 show marked his 10-year anniversary, so the collection was undoubtedly filled with his signature themes: exquisite draping, sharp cuts, and bold colours. Each look seemed to carry a balance between shiny and matte, featuring satins and metallics juxtaposed with lustreless fabrics. Many coats and dresses were loosely based off kimono-style garments, and finished off with a peculiar pair of heels that looked almost impossible to be functioning.
